When you use our website we automatically collect some technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, the pages you visit and the site that referred you. Some of this is collected using cookies (see section 6).
We may receive information about you from partners who help us install and support your connection, and from social media platforms if you contact us through them.
We only use your information where the law allows us to. The table below sets out what we use it for and the lawful basis we rely on.

We never sell your personal information. We share it only where we need to:
Some of our service providers may store or process information outside Jersey and Guernsey, for example in the UK or the European Economic Area. Where information goes to a country that isn’t recognised as giving it adequate protection, we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as approved contract terms.
Cookies are small files a website saves on your device. We use:
You can delete cookies or block them in your browser settings at any time. If you block essential cookies, some parts of the site may not work properly.
We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. For customers, that’s normally for as long as you have a service with us and for a period afterwards, so we can deal with any queries and keep the records the law requires (for example, financial and tax records).
When we no longer need your information, we delete or anonymise it. If that isn’t immediately possible (for example, because it’s held in a backup), we store it securely and don’t use it until it can be deleted.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Only people who need your information to do their job can access it. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, but we work hard to protect the information we hold.
You have the right to:
To use any of these rights, contact us at mail@homenet.je. It’s free, and we’ll normally reply within one month. We may need to confirm your identity first. Some rights have legal limits; for example, we may need to keep some information to comply with the law or to resolve a dispute, and we’ll tell you if that’s the case.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the data protection regulator:
